Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before placing an order with Brass+Co.

1. General Terms

These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed with Brass+Co. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Orders and Quotes

All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices are subject to change without notice. Orders are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit payment (typically 50% of the total order value).

3. Bespoke and Made-to-Order Items

All Brass+Co shelving systems are made to order and crafted specifically for your project. Once production has commenced, orders cannot be cancelled, and deposits are non-refundable.

4. Lead Times

Typical lead time is 6–10 weeks depending on the complexity of the order and current workshop schedule. We will provide an estimated completion date when your order is confirmed. Lead times are estimates and may be subject to change.

5. Payment Terms

A deposit of 50% is required to commence production. The balance is due before delivery or installation. We accept bank transfer and major credit cards.

6. Delivery and Installation

We offer nationwide delivery and installation across the UK. Delivery costs will be quoted separately based on your location. For international orders, please contact us for a shipping quote.

Installation services are available at an additional cost. If you choose to arrange your own installation, we will provide detailed fitting instructions and technical drawings.

7. Returns and Cancellations

Due to the bespoke nature of our products, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds once production has commenced. If items arrive damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.

8. Warranty

All Brass+Co products are covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by improper installation.

9. Care and Maintenance

Brass is a natural material that will develop a patina over time. To maintain the original finish, clean regularly with a soft microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals.

10. Intellectual Property

All designs, images, and content on the Brass+Co website are the intellectual property of Brass+Co and may not be reproduced without permission.

11. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. Information provided during the enquiry and ordering process is used solely for fulfilling your order and communicating with you about your project.

We do not share your information with third parties except as necessary to fulfill your order (e.g., shipping companies, payment processors). We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Your data is stored securely and retained only as long as necessary for business and legal purposes.

12. Limitation of Liability

Brass+Co shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use or inability to use our products. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

13. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
