Which finishes can I choose? How high should we hang them over an island? How long will it take? We’ve answered the questions we’re asked most often.
How high should we hang a ceiling-hung unit above a worktop or bar? +
As a guide: 450–600 mm above a kitchen work surface keeps the prep area usable. Over an island or bar counter, 600–750 mm feels airy and gives comfortable head clearance.
We’ll confirm final height once we see ceiling height, bottle height, etc.
How do we clean the brass and glass? +
Wipe brass with a soft microfibre cloth. Do not use abrasive pads. Avoid harsh ammonia cleaners directly on the brass.
For the glass, spray cleaner onto the cloth first, not straight onto the fittings. The glass is low-iron toughened with polished edges, so it will come back crystal clear.
Do the shelving systems come assembled or in kit form? +
As standard, all shelving systems are supplied in kit form for you to fix and assemble on site. Full technical drawings and fixing instructions are provided with every order.

Can you install nationwide? +
Yes, we do. As standard, though, we send the shelving out flat-packed for others to install, with drawings and fixing instructions. If you would like us to install, tell us when you enquire and we will quote for it.
What is the typical lead time? +
Our lead time is 6–10 weeks from order. If you need it sooner, tell us your date when you enquire and we will do our best to bring it forward.
What finishes do you offer? Can you colour match? +
Satin Brass is our signature finish. We also offer Antique Brass, Bronze and Gun Metal as standard. Colour matching, painted finishes and other bespoke finishes are available on request: send us a reference image or sample and we will advise.
